Personal Statement
Cassidy grew up in the Texas Hill Country and received her degree in animal science from Texas A&M University. She then went on to complete a PhD in animal science with a focus on stress physiology and immunology, with a particular focus on ways to modulate the immune response. Cassidy had completed research in pigs, cattle, sheep, fish and even snails. She now lives in Arkansas with her wonderful husband, three dogs and one cat.
